Spring Fling!

This past week was crazy. We had our yearbook deadline on Thursday so I stayed late each night to get the pages finished and ready for print.
Soooooo needless to say I was ready for the the weekend!  It reached into the 80s on Saturday but was a cool 78 on Sunday. Here is a little recap......

Friday Night: Dinner at Alamo Cafe with mom and dad and then off to LRWs baseball game. It was a great game but not a good outcome. We lost:(

Saturday: Worked with my mom at her school carnival. Our booth was the cascarones!! For those of you not familiar those are decorated egg shells stuffed with confetti! The kids run around and crack them on everyone's heads. They had 700 dozen eggs ready to sell!

Saturday Night: Dinner with the family, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and LRW at our favorite Mexican restaurant. Spent the evening with LRW watching some MARCH MADNESS!

Sunday: church and lunch with the family! Finished up some homework and dinner with LRW and his family!!

Hope your weekend was great and relaxing. Here is a bible verse form Sunday School today that I loved:

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God." -Philippians 4:6

  3. I love the eggs!! I made something sorta like that once. But the confetti was glued on the outside. It was pretty.
