Many of you bloggers out there amaze me. You blog EVERYday, you comment on other blogs, you twitter, you facebook, and have a tumbler! I honestly don't know how you do it. I am so impressed, jealous, and motivated by your dedication! (you know who you are)
*When I started this blog my goal was to blog 4 times a week now my goal is once a week.
*Facebook: the only time mine is updated is when I am tagged in a picture!
*Tumbler: don't have one!
*Twitter: I am the only one who doesn't have one!
Am I a social media flunky???
Any Advice??
I grew up in a time where NO ONE was connected aside from writing letters, phone calls, and TV... and most only had the standard four channels, haha! I think it is 100% fine to not be totally engaged in/controlled by social media... if you are online all the time when are you actually doing anything to be sharing? I know saying this may ruffle some feathers, and maybe this Child of the 80s is too old school, but I really enjoy my time away from my computer and cell phone and do not understand how people cannot seem to live without being connected to something all the time. (Now I feel old, haha).
ReplyDeletei do NOT know how people do it... twitter has fallen away... blog commenting has gone out the window... and i blog about three times a week (max.). oiy!

I probably shouldn't even comment on this, because I am THE WORST offender of inconsistent blogging. Yes I have a personal twitter, facebook and Pinterest in addition to my blog, but compared to some other more established bloggers I've got nada. The only thing I can say is that scheduled blog posts are your friends. Because I'm a full time student I rarely have time to post sporadically, so around 90% of my posts are scheduled ahead of time. Good luck, and if you find the golden key to better blogging, please let me know!
